The story of Primacy Care
"I have a background in public relations, where I was the first point of contact for dealing with all customer related services including special requests and complaints.
"My time doing this role then came to an end when a member of family became unwell. I took on the role of caring for them in every aspect and realised how much I enjoyed it. I was brought up on a farm with my family where we all helped each other and those less fortunate than ourselves. I remember stories being told about how my great-grandmothers baked bread for those struggling during the war. Giving and helping and supporting others has been in my family for generations and these strong caring values are at the core of Primacy Care.
"I started my caring career in 2016 and quickly found myself falling in love with being a carer, treating each service user as though they were part of my family. I consider it a privilege to be welcomed in to someone’s home and to be able to help them. For me this isn’t just a job, it’s a way of being; it’s part of me. And my belief is that we can all help others, no matter how big or small."
